I was excited to hear the announcement of Disney/Pixar's new movie "Inside Out," and watching the trailer made me even more excited! The thought of personifying emotions is brilliant and a great way to teach everyone (not just kids) about their feelings.
Throughout the movie, I found myself taking mental notes on all the themes that I could use in my own therapy sessions with clients. Clearly, I would have to watch this movie about 100 times to write down all of the nuances and little metaphors that pop up. Thankfully, I found a link that lists many of the themes that can found throughout the movie. Not only is this helpful for therapists like myself, but parents and families can check this out and see if you can relate any of these to your situations. Check it out below! The Helpful Counselor
